Our Beliefs
At Kindred Harbor Behavioral Health, we understand the profound impact mental wellness issues and substance abuse can have on individuals and their loved ones. We recognize the stigma and shame that often hinder people from seeking support for their mental and behavioral health. In their darkest moments, we aim to be a safe harbor, offering unconditional hope and support. We believe dignified care is a necessity, not just a right, and strive to provide excellence in every aspect of our work.
Kindred Harbor Heroes
Mickie Chaney
Mickie Chaney, owner of Uprise Behavioral Health, believed in Taj and encouraged her to start KHBH. Working together as infectious disease social workers at MetroHealth, Mickie provided free consultation and essential support, playing a pivotal role in KHBH’s success.
Akeem Rollins
Akeem Rollins, from MetroHealth’s infectious disease department, always encouraged Taj to “think bigger” and praised her talents. His support and encouragement boosted Taj’s self-esteem, inspiring her to branch out and pursue her dream of starting KHBH.
