Kindred Harbor has partnered with The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland to bring affirming mental health care directly into the community. Our team is embedded at the Center to make support more accessible, more visible, and easier to reach for LGBTQIA+ individuals who deserve care that truly gets them. Meet our embedded team:
Maddy facilitates the Youth Soft Skills and Emotional Social Learning Workshop at the Center, creating space for queer young people to build real skills around emotional regulation, communication, and healthy relationships. She believes youth learn just as much from each other as from any facilitator, and she shows up to make sure that peer connection happens in a safe, affirming environment.
Gabrielle provides brief solution-focused therapy for Trans+ participants at the Center, starting from a place of affirmation rather than assessment. As a Black, queer, gender non-conforming therapist, they bring both professional expertise and lived experience to a space where clients can expect to be celebrated, not just accepted.
JD is KHBH’s embedded Queer Behavioral Health Specialist for the 44107 Pilot Program, connecting LGBTQIA+ community members to therapy, case management, housing, food resources, and more. No appointment needed. JD is at the Center on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 to 8 pm, ready to help you figure out next steps, whatever those look like for you.
Our team consists of highly qualified, culturally compassionate professionals dedicated to providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care. All our therapists are EMDR certified and have diverse backgrounds, ensuring you receive personalized and effective treatment. Meet our staff here.
