(She/They)
Your Core Approach & Areas of Focus
I specialize in trauma, however have experience treating a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, codependency, problem gambling, addiction, and women’s issues. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and client-led process. I focus on remaining judgement free, trauma-informed, and creating a space that people want to return to for therapy.
What Guides Your Work?
My strengths in the therapeutic space include humor, a dedication to authenticity, compassion, and creativity. I strive to maintain a person-centered and holistic therapeutic approach.
What Makes Your Support Effective?
Clients appreciate my straight forward approach to healing. This includes traditional talk therapy, EMDR therapy, the use of somatic work, and dialectical behavior therapy. I want clients to experience healing in a tangible way through the work they do in the office.
Your Journey to Providing Mental Wellness Services
I initially pursued this field due to an interest in psychology, followed by a lot of encouragement from family and professors. My own personal journey with mental health has also had a significant impact.
What You Find Most Rewarding
Witnessing clients see their own progress and develop the kind of resilience that keeps that progress going is what keeps me invested and excited about my work.
