Bhavana Katragadda

(She/her)

Your Core Approach & Areas of Focus
My approach is client-centered and culturally responsive, grounding each therapeutic relationship in your goals, values, and lived experience while supporting children, adolescents, and adults including those navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions through evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT skills training, and EMDR, alongside somatic practices informed by my certification in yoga and meditation to foster mind-body healing, resilience, and lasting emotional wellness.
What Guides Your Work?
Clients often share that they feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected in our work together because I center their voice, values, and cultural identity while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for growth. I balance practical, evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and EMDR with mindfulness and somatic practices, helping clients not only understand their experiences but also build real-life skills to manage emotions, reduce symptoms, and feel more connected to themselves. My calm, grounded presence along with an ability to meet clients where they are helps foster trust, empowerment, and meaningful, lasting change.
What Makes Your Support Effective?
I bring a calm, grounding presence paired with genuine warmth and curiosity, which helps clients feel safe enough to open up and explore their experiences without fear of judgment. I naturally attune to both what is said and unsaid, allowing me to meet people where they are while gently encouraging growth, and clients often appreciate my ability to blend compassion with authenticity in a way that makes the therapeutic space feel both supportive and empowering.
What You Find Most Rewarding
What I find most rewarding is witnessing clients reconnect with their sense of self and realize their capacity for growth, healing, and change, especially in those moments when they begin to trust themselves, apply new skills, and see that a more balanced, empowered way of living is truly possible.
