Your Core Approach & Areas of Focus
I am passionate about helping people feel comfortable with setting up mental health and case management supports through a nonjudgmental, welcoming, and informative approach.
What Guides Your Work?
I think it is important that people in need of support understand that they are not alone and there is hope – going through intake is already putting them one step closer to healing.
What Makes Your Support Effective?
Clients feel respected and heard because I sincerely care about their story, their concerns, and want them to receive the help they think is most important.
Your Journey to Providing Mental Wellness Services
Helping a young child who was struggling with homesickness when I was a teenager working at a summer camp – I was the only person able to help him feel better and it made me realize I truly enjoyed helping people in this way.
What You Find Most Rewarding
Seeing client’s find hope and recognize their own strengths.
Qualifications & Credentials
Doctor of Education; Licensed Professional Counselor
Beyond Your Credentials
A belief that we are all simply trying to do the very best we can in this messy thing called life.
I love traveling and exploring different places – everything from different cultures to different types of places (cities, forests, museums, beaches – anything you can think of!)
Your Unique Strength
Sincerely finding ways to compliment clients on progress and tie in pieces of hope even when they feel at their lowest.
Off-Duty Well-Being
Quality time with the people that I love most in this world rejuvenates me.
