My approach is rooted in empowering clients to better understand and, therefore, better navigate their circumstances through education and building skills pertaining to self advocacy. I feel particularly at home serving people belonging to QBIPOC populations, as well as those dealing with addiction.

What Makes Your Support Effective?
Clients find my ability to connect their personal struggles with larger societal and systemic issues to be affirming but not disempowering. My approach allows for clients to explore and implement a blend of individual and community based approaches to healing and health that they find robust and fulfilling.
Your Journey to Providing Mental Wellness Services
My experience with a case manager I had at 17 who helped guide my healing journey while treating me as a whole person instead of a client helped propel me into a passion for mental health. My experience with her was much different than previous experiences and, seeing what difference it made for me, made me want to provide the same for others.
What You Find Most Rewarding
I love seeing the little bits of progress that clients make which may not seem substantial to them in the moment but, over time, add up to massive movements toward healing and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Credentials
Philosophy BA from Case Western Reserve University, and I have a Youth Mental Health First Aid certificate

I have personal experience navigating multiple forms of hardship in life that allows me to connect with almost anyone, and a unique ability to make others feel seen and cared for. Combined with my professional and academic experience, I am able to suggest unconventional yet effective methods of problem solving that others may not.
