(She/Her)
Your Core Approach & Areas of Focus
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on supporting individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Many of my clients are navigating the impacts of trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. I’m especially attuned to the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, including minority stress, discrimination, and the process of building a strong and affirming sense of self.
What Guides Your Work?
My work is guided by a deep belief in the resilience of the human mind and body, and in the power of healing through connection, awareness, and empowerment.
What Makes Your Support Effective?
My work is grounded in the understanding that therapy exists within a larger social context. Mental health is shaped not only by individual experiences but also by systems of oppression, inequality, and cultural expectations. I aim to help clients find clarity and agency within what they can change, while also developing acceptance and compassion toward what’s beyond their control.
Your Journey to Providing Mental Wellness Services
What solidified my decision to pursue this work was a deep care for my community and a belief in collective well-being. I truly believe that when one of us does better, we all do better.
What You Find Most Rewarding
What I find most rewarding about this work is witnessing people reconnect with their sense of self—whether that’s through healing from trauma, finding their voice, or beginning to live more authentically.
Qualifications & Credentials
Master of Social Work from University of Central Florida
Beyond Your Credentials
I’m not afraid to laugh with my clients, to acknowledge the absurdity of life at times, or to celebrate small victories with genuine warmth.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family; connection is truly important to me!
Your Unique Strength
A unique strength I bring to my work is my ability to hold both complexity and compassion at the same time. I’m deeply comfortable sitting with the gray areas of life—the parts that don’t have easy answers or quick fixes.
Off-Duty Well-Being
I enjoy spending time outside, walking, running, reading, or just reflecting, especially by Lake Erie.
