You should never be denied your identity. We strive to make the process of obtaining a letter as quick, easy, and unobtrusive as possible. Our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming and competent environment for all LGBTQIA+ community members, ensuring you have access to evidence-based behavioral health services from proven allies and community members.

Our Process

Obtaining a letter for gender-affirming surgery should be straightforward and supportive. We help you understand the process and support you in getting the documentation you need.

Assessment

Your journey to obtaining a letter of support starts with a standard assessment and treatment plan, administered by our culturally competent staff.

Discussion

Over six bi-weekly sessions (spanning roughly 90 days), we discuss and complete the Gender Asset™ assessment to evaluate your candidacy for affirming surgery.

Evaluation

Our staff uses clinical judgment to ensure informed consent and assess your mental wellness and support for the recovery process.

Drafting

If deemed a candidate for gender-affirming surgery or other care, we draft the necessary letters of support with you.
